Senior Citizens serve meals Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays starting
at 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays is covered dish day, everyone brings a covered
dish. Toast and Coffee are served about 8:30. Then there is
Chickenfoot, 42 Train and other games until serving time. Food is brought by
participants.
Home delivers are available for homebound people. You
must be 60 or above and homebound to participate.
We will pick up people from their homes, take them to
Senior Citizen's center, and return them back home. You just need to call by 10
that morning.
Monday:
10:00 a.m. - Bingo & win door prizes
Tuesday: 8:00
a.m. - Board games
Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. - Gospel singing
Senior Citizen's Center is targeted more to men & women over 60 years of
age, but anyone under 60 is welcomed.
Above 60 there is a suggested donation of $3.00
Under 60 there is a manditory of $3.00
AARP Driving Classes are held at the center. Completion of these classes
reduces auto insurance rates. The Senior Citizen's Center also holds a
bake sale twice year to raise money. The profit from these
fundraisers are used to pay their fees to the state, gives an
opportunity for the seniors to take field trips, and any other
activities or expenses they may have. Computers are available for use by
seniors also.
